Skiing
Portes du Soliel is a vast interconnecting area that offers skiing for all standards. The good nursery slopes in the village and at the middle station are ideal for both adults and children to learn on. The numerous intermediate and advanced slopes that are spread all over the 650 klms will keep any skier active. A days skiing can include a trip to Switzerland or the 'Wall' at Avoriaz, but whatever standard you are there are plenty of slopes to explore.
Ski School
French This good local ski school offers a dedicated area for children with morning lessons for the youngsters and morning and/or afternoon lesson for older children.

Childcare
Hillwood believes in operating their childcare facilities with a flexible approach, with a program of activities to meet the needs of a family ski holiday. Daily activities include, snow fun, crafts and playtime. Hillwood believes ski holidays should be packed with fun and activities so with this philosophy we are sure your children will enjoy a Hillwood winter holiday.

Village
Les Gets is one of the oldest villages in the Haute Savoir region, and although it cater for the skier the resort has still retained the atmosphere of a village. There are numerous bars and restaurant, shops and clubs, the bowling alley and ice ring also provided good entertainment.
Christmas in the Alps
Skiing at Christmas can be a special time and for families we offer a package that includes a special meal on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas stockings, crackers and cake combining England and France.
Ski Packs
Prices quoted are in £ sterling for 6 days and are approximate:

Ski and Boot hire can vary dependant on the type of equipment you require.

Ski School
French Ski School Lessons are 2 hours either mornings or afternoons, these can be booked for up to 6 consecutive days. Price is one day £18 to £74 for 6 days.
Private lessons are also available on an hourly basis.
Hillwood Childcare in the Alps
6 days full childcare 0900-1700 including lunch £210. Individual days can be booked.
After Ski school pick up including Lunch 1145-1700 £180. Discounts offer for second child in family of 15%.

Accommodation
Price guide includes basic holiday cost for one adult sharing a double room for 7 days half board accommodation, return flights, transfer and taxes.
Marmotte ***
Price Guide £900
This prestigious hotel with its ideal location offers guests an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The bar and restaurant overlook the slopes, a pleasant place to relax in at the end of the day. The Marmotte's facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, fitness centre, games room and lift. The rooms range from doubles to family suites most rooms have balconies, all rooms are equipped with televisions, radios and telephones and have private facilities.
Hillwood's child clubs are located within the hotel complex, including the free evening club.
Les Alpages ***
Price Guide £780
Hillwood is delighted to offer Les Alpages, this hotel is located close to the nursery slope and offer fantastic facilities. All room are en suite and range from family rooms to twins. The hotel has a lift, bar and restaurant. In addition the facilities extend to a Health Spa with sauna and Jacuzzi; there is a heated outdoor pool that is kept at a wonderful 30 degrees, a perfect place to end your days skiing.

Hotel Bel Alpe **
Price Guide £660
Close to the village centre and within easy reach of the slopes this friendly professionally run hotel will give you a warm welcome. The rooms vary from doubles to family rooms and there is a children’s play room, lift, bar and excellent restaurant.
Hotel Mont Chery ***
Price Guide £800 (Bed & breakfast only)
The Mont Chery is a luxurious hotel set close to the Piste and near the Marmotte offers a high standard of accommodation. Its facilities include swimming pool and sauna.
