Skiing

This area has an excellent snow record. The skiing is of a high standard for all abilities, with good ski routes and an extensive interconnecting area. You can ski all day without repeating a run! The area is constantly upgraded which has meant the slopes are mainly served by high speed lifts thus reducing the lift queues.

Children Ski School

The Austrian ski schools are some of the best in the world and the ones in Söll are no exception. These excellent ski schools offer all day tuition for up to five days and even have a lunch time supervision service, if required. Ski races are held each week on the Thursday morning.

Childcare

Hillwood operates their alpine childcare facilities with a flexible approach to meet the needs of a family on a ski holiday. We have a programme of activities including, snow fun, crafts, playtime and quiet times. We at Ski Hillwood believe ski holidays should be packed with fun and activities so with this philosophy we are sure your children will enjoy a Hillwood winter holiday.

Owl Club for the over 3s. Hillwood staff will introduce children to the basics of skiing in a fun way, skis and boots are included in this package.
Evening Club - Hotel Tyrol

The Owl Club in S–ll, offers an introduction to skiing in a fun and gentle way and at a pace to suit the little ones. So often the very young can be put off skiing by having to go to ski school all day. Our programme is designed to go at their pace, with skiing for short periods of time then play. Boots and skis are included in this package.

If parents would like an evening out then our staff are happy to baby sit.

Village

Söll is an old village, and village life is still evident, its church is still very much the centre of daily life, enhancing the overall atmosphere. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, plus bowling alley, ice rink and an excellent swimming pool complex, for the really adventurous there is a long and exciting toboggan track! All providing you with an action packed family holiday.

Christmas in the Alps

Skiing at Christmas can be a special time and for families we offer a package that includes a special meal on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas stockings, crackers and cake combining England and Austria.

Ski School

Lesson are 4 hours long split morning and afternoon, these can be booked for up to 5 consecutive days. Price is one day £35 to £96 for 5 days.

Lunch time supervision is € 10 a day.

Private lessons are also available on an hourly basis.

Hillwood Childcare

6 days full childcare 0930-1700 including lunch and equipment use in Owl Club £210. Individual days can be booked.

Price guide includes basic holiday cost for one adult sharing a double room for 7 days half board accommodation, return flights, transfer and taxes.

This comfortable hotel offer excellent Austrian cuisine, well appointed rooms and a fitness centre, sauna and spa bath. There is a pleasant bar to relax in at the end of the day.

Hillwood has based their childcare facilities here, so in the evening children can have an early meal and then chill out in the children’s room under the watchful eye of our staff.

Bergland ***

Price Guide £620

An exceptional hotel that offers apartments on a half board basis, giving a family plenty of room and flexibility. The hotel restaurant is excellent, with a friendly atmosphere; whilst the hotel does not have a bar they do have a room that houses an honesty bar. Its location is ideal, being opposite the base of the nursery slopes and close to the swimming pool. Hillwood is confident that you will enjoy your stay here.
