Our breaks are from Friday-Monday or Mid-week breaks, Wednesday-Saturday or Saturday-Wednesday; It's your choice.
Blast Breaks
These are special short break ski experience dates that combine high level ski coaching with our high level of accommodation and service standards. Ever thought, I would love to brush up my technique or I would love to try skiing off-piste or how do you really ski powder then give these breaks a try and we will show you how.
Spend a few days of learning about 'off piste' skiing, powder, spring snow, high alpine environ awareness; or maybe brushing up on your on-piste skills, improveor perfect the parallel turn, skiing the bumps, or just miles of 'cruisee' skiing; try different styles of skis the possibilities are endless when with a group of likeminded skiers.
All the short break dates are available but each ski course must have a minimum of four skiers, so when you call us to check dates we can advise you as to how many likeminded skiers have already pre-reserved that particular short break. However if you don't want to join in on the ski coaching, not a problem, you can still enjoy the skiing in Zauchensee and if you want you can even book an hour or two of private lessons.
So what type of snow condition would you expect, typically, January would offer 'off piste' dates with powder snow whereas the later March dates, will have spring conditions. Both have different techniques and this will all add to your ability.
SKI COACHING: Although we can't offer Michael Walchhofer, the current world champion downhill skier based in Zauchensee, as your coach. We can offer his ski school, the ski coaches used are trained by his brother Peter, so are highly qualified and very experienced. They are keen to pass on the tips and technical critique to improve your skiing.
SPECIAL SKIS: Our partner ski hire shop 'Intersport Schneider' offers 'off piste' and 'powder' skis as well as a large range of the latest performance skis including test Atomic Skis.
Pampering Breaks
Sneak away for the perfect combination of an energetic day and a relaxing time.
Spend your day skiing with either one of our coaches or with a ski guide or with your friends. Then relax later with a massage or a swim. What better way to wind down.
Don't forget if you have children there is no problem, our child care operates thoughout your stay.
Quick breaks
Just come away with a group and enjoy your skiing and aprčés fun. The Zauchenseehof is perfect, you can ski all day, then relax by the pool, followed by a delicious meal and drinks in the bar. What better way of spending some time with your friends.
